It’s VERY Hot Downunder

Lion John writes – I dropped a line to our twins in Australia, Heathcote Lions Club. Apart from wishing them a Happy New Year and congratulations for winning the Ashes back, I also mentioned our lousy weather and asking them what it is like in their next of the woods.

Their forecast for the next 7 days is: Today (Sunday) 34C, Monday 39C, Tuesday 42C, Wednesday 42C, Thursday 44C, Friday 41C and Saturday it goes downhill to 31C with the possibility of a shower. They also fully expect to a ‘total fire ban’ during the week. Anyone still complaining about the British weather?
