What we do We have been based in North Bristol for more than 40 years helping the less fortunate. We have several fund raising games:- Frogs (out of doors at Fairs), Pig racing (great fun in pubs) and a Card game (anywhere). We collect money at shopping centres and our Christmas Carol Float is well known throughout North Bristol. We organise Esters Egg and Christmas hamper raffles in many local pubs and club. We raise several thousand pounds each year; all the money raised helps people in need, mostly in Bristol.

Who we help Groups helped recently include Barton Camp, Hawkspring, Manor Farm Boys Club, Southmead Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and Eye Hospitals. Charities being helped at present include The Chescombe Trust in Patchway which helps people with learning difficulties, Elmfield School and Lawrence Weston Community Farm.

Being a Lion is gratifying and is great fun. We have a varied social calendar – dinners, boules, visits, barbecues etc.
