Dementia Awareness Day – A Big Success

Lion Julia writes – I attended the Dementia Awareness Day at Reedley Road Baptist Church yesterday.  29 Message In A Bottle were given out to some very grateful people.  Lion Rod Jones supported me for about half an hour and blow me down, would you believe it, as soon as he left I was kept very busy chatting to people about MIAB, other Lions projects and our Club.  Lots of smiles put on peoples’ faces.  This was a really good ‘service’ activity for our club – well worth doing in raising our profile in the local community.
