Bristol Brunel Lions Club is a North Bristol based charity which has been actively fundraising for over 40 years. Our universal motto is ‘We Serve – We Care’ which simply means that we try to help those less fortunate than ourselves. Each year we raise several thousand pounds, and all the money goes to worthwhile causes, mostly in North Bristol. We have a long tradition of helping those with sight problems, and are also interested in supporting Youth projects, health and environmental initiatives. The Lions Clubs International Organisation is over 100 years old.
Being a Lion is gratifying and great fun. We have a varied social calendar and new members are always welcome. We are a friendly mixed gender club and always meet in accessible venues.
We meet on the first Tuesday of each month at 7.00pm at The Norwester Club, 131 Westbury Road, Westbury on Trym, Bristol, BS9 3AN. On the 3rd Tuesday we have a social meeting. These meetings are open to all, and you will be most welcome.
