St. Georges Day Dinner

Our Social Committee Duo, Duncan and Mark, write – Celebrating our patron saint, St George, has become an established highlight of our social calendar.  This year we held our commemorative dinner at Henbury Golf Club and what a marvellous evening it was.  Over 30 Lions, partners, friends and guests tucked in to traditional English fare and enthusiastically toasted the saint.  To cap off the evening, aided by Val, we entertained everyone with a modern rendition of the story of St George who slayed the dragon and saved a damsel in distress.
