Gerry the Plummer Saves the Day

Our greatly awaited Fish & Chips supper at Mark and Val’s nearly didn’t happen.  Tragedy nearly intervened.  On the morning of the day, our hosts’ loo handle disintegrated putting the event is grave danger of postponement or even worse, cancellation.  On hearing of our plight, Gerry the Plummer cleared his diary and prioritised the repairs.  It wasn’t until after we had enjoyed a thoroughly tasty Fish & Chips evening did we find out that Gerry completed the repairs at 5.00 pm.  Well done Gerry and thank you Mark and Val for being terrific hosts.  A super evening.
