As this year’s club president, Duncan wants to raise a target of £1100 to buy 50 special footballs, enabling children who otherwise might not get the opportunity to play football due to visual impairment. He’ll do this by walking 50 times around the Rovers football pitches. The balls cost £22.00p each and will be presented to both the Rovers Community Organisation and Lions International “Ball for All” appeal.
He plans to do as many laps as he can on days when they are playing at home, and also some laps of the Bristol Rovers pitch at the Memorial Ground on mid-week days. Duncan’s 50th lap will be there at a home game.
