The club has undertaken an exercise to raise awareness of the threat posed by plastic. We filled a plastic see through box with an unknown number of plastic bottles of varying sizes and have asked people to guess the number of plastic bottles in the box. £1 a guess, and the best guess wins £50. […]
As part of our Christmas collecting activities we took part in Henleaze Fayre and raised over £180 for our good causes. We also collected at Waitrose, Henleaze and Golden Hill, Tesco and raised even more money, all of which goes to those in need.
We helped Bristol Round Table and Clifton Rotary with their firework display at Canford Park on Saturday 10th November 2018 raising money for local charitable causes. We man a gate there every year and we get some money for our causes as our payment. The following day, Armistice Day, we walked to raise money.

On the 100th anniversary of the First World War, November 11th 2018, we walked between Brunel’s Bristol masterpieces Clifton Suspension Bridge and the SS Great Britain. We walked from bridge to boat (far too old to walk uphill) and raise funds for 2442 Air Cadet squadron in Westbury on Trym.
