New Bradley Stoke MS Centre Visit
Lion Ailsa writes – The new custom-built Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Centre opened in Bradley Stoke in May 2012 to replace the older and much smaller centre in Nailsea.
Bradley Stoke Lions President, Robin Young, with Lions Ailsa and Heather attended an open day on Thursday 30th October to see its modern airy accommodation and equipment. The original Barometric Chamber brought from Nailsea is used not only by M.S. patients but also by anyone needing pure oxygen treatment i.e. severe chest infections etc. The Bradley Stoke Lions once held a meeting in the Barometric Chamber at Nailsea a number of years ago – without the use of oxygen I must add!
It’s a brilliant complex, doing an excellent job. We wish them every success.
