Nora Menhennett

It was with great sadness that we heard of the recent death of Nora Menhennett.  Nora was married to Lion Rod who was one of the founders of Lions in Bristol.  Over the last 50 years plus Nora was always helping and supported Lion Rod in his years as a member of the City of Bristol Lions and more recently Bristol Brunel Lions.  One enduring memory will be of Nora as she managed her ‘soup kitchen’ each December, welcoming back the carol float collectors with delicious hot soup whilst Rod dispensed some other warming spirits.

We will have fond memories of Nora and our thoughts are with Ron and his family at this time.
